Control Grid

[Plotted below is a master "control" grid for tracking the providing of feedback to organizational units from the University-wide Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IE) relating to their on-going self-study and strategic planning work.  Entry in Col. #2 indicates that a study/planning document as been filed, either on paper or electronically, with the Office of Institutional Researech & Planning.  As documents are received electronically, they are posted to the web site for IE review.  {Documents may have been produced and dissementated elsewhere; they cannot be tracked on this grid until recieved by IRP}.  In its work, the IE committee is particularly concerned about and provides "expert" feedback to units and senior administrators about unit missions and goals, action plans, anticipation of budget implications, and the development of suitable effectiveness measures.  Entries Cols. #3--8 display IE committee collective rating of planning attributes; Cols 9-11 indicate tha IE has provided feedback to the unit and the administration.]
