| SSU's IRP office develops only aggregate data/information and strategic
plans relating to groups or units within the University, not to individual cases or
policies. Working
priorities for IRP are developed in response to official external demands for information,
specific planning-related information requests by the President and his cabinet, and needs
of university-wide formal committees & task forces.
Information about individual
cases within the University community may be obtained from offices where it is collected,
stored, and maintained (e.g.: Registrar, Human Resources, Financial Affairs, etc.) subject
both to individuals' "right to privacy" and inquirers' "right to know" from a public agency.
IRP staff are eager to help and
counsel all University stakeholders regarding other data, research and planning-related
issues & techniques, time permitting.
